Education One of the most important aspects of the Dreambuilder Celebration is our focus on education. Our movies are designed as catalysts for students, their families, classmates and teachers to openly and honestly explore important issues such as discrimination, racial identity, responsibility, culture the impact of decisions and building dreams. Our Viewers' Guides provide viewers and educators with the writer's biography and a synopsis of the movie. The guides detail the relevant themes and suggest pre- and post-viewing discussions and activities. On the reverse, the guides have a four-color poster suitable for display. We provide these without charge to viewers and educators. We also provide reproducible study guides that allow teachers to easily integrate the Dreambuilder Celebration into their assignments. We urge all viewers, teachers and students to contact us with questions, thoughts and comments about our organization, its mission or one of our movies. These comments drive improvements and enhancements. We invite and encourage classes to actively participate in the Dreambuilder Celebration. Classes may visit our station or the set of the next Dreambuilder movie to get a behind-the-scenes look at the world of television. We also present seminars to schools and community groups on topics ranging from building dreams to writing and acting, to building a career in the television industry. We are joined in these efforts by Dreambuilder "Ambassadors" - actors, writers, producers, directors and crew from previous Celebrations.
