1998
Procter & Gamble Dreambuilder Scribe Award
Winner:
Alex P. Michaels
Alex P. Michaels was born and raised in Cleveland,
Ohio. Alex began writing at the age of five.
He watched his sister stay home and write;
he watched his brother play sports. Noticing
that his brother got hurt more often than
his sister, the five-year old Alex decided
it was safer to become a writer.
If you watch What Angels Fear closely,
you'll see Alex's cameo appearance. He is
washing his hands in the beginning of the
scene in the police locker room. You will
also see Alex's father, Sylvester "Sly"
Michaels, working in the evidence room two
scenes later when Kevin and Sly sign the money
and drugs into evidence.
