"Our Father", written by area residents Shawn Scott and Jeff Shelby, has now been awarded more than a dozen regional and national honors since its premiere on our station early this year.

A spokesperson for the Aurora awards explains, "The Aurora Awards are designed to recognize local, regional, independent, and industrial film and video excellence. Our Father was judged worthy of our highest honor - Platinum Best in Show - in the category of television entertainment for youth 12-18 years old."

The annual Dreambuilder Celebration movie is the result of our year-long Dreambuilder Celebration project. Filming on the 2002 Procter & Gamble Dreambuilder Celebration movie, "The Movement" was completed earlier this month. Opportunities for internships and mentorships, educational seminars and theatrical performances are included in the Dreambuilder program.
